World Day Against Child Labour

Today is the World Day Against Child Labour, a day dedicated to inspire action for the prevention of child labour.

More than 200 million children all over the world are child labourers, which means that they are engaged in employment or any sort of work that interferes with their ability to have a normal childhood and that harms them physically, mentally, socially, or morally.

All children deserve the right to act their age, to play and to learn, and to receive an education.

Let us act now to end child labour and ensure a healthy, normal childhood for all children.
