A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Salim Habib University and Indus Hospital and Health Network (IHHN), in order to facilitate collaborations of an altruistic nature between the two organizations.

The MoU will foster a strong sense of social responsibility in the students of SHU and give them opportunities for volunteering and social internships, along with ensuring that they give back to society and furthering the University's goal of helping humanity.

The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU and Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer, IHHN. Director Marketing, HR & Admin, SHU, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib and Manager Outreach IHHN Mr. Arif Rahman, also graced the ceremony with their presence. Also notably present were Registrar SHU Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan and Dean Faculty of Engineering SHU Dr. Zeeshan ul Haque.
