Salim Habib University had an Independence Day celebration featuring a Flag Hoisting Ceremony conducted by Vice Chancellor SHU Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, which was made even more beautiful by the pleasant turn taken by Karachi's weather.

Notably present to commemorate the occasion were Registrar Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, the honorable Deans of all Faculties at SHU, Head of the Departments and Director Marketing, HR, and Admin, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib. All of the SHU staff was also present and participated wholeheartedly in the festivities.
