A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Salim Habib University (SHU) and Conure Telecom Services (Pvt.) Ltd.

The MoU, initiated by the Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office SHU, and signed in order to strengthen academia-industry linkages by building and maintaining a productive collaborative relationship with Conure, intends to bring about the professional and academic development of both the employees of Conure and the students of SHU, through the arrangement of workshops, seminars, visits, and similar events that give them exposure and practical learning as well as a real-time insight into the industry, and by providing them with internship and job placement opportunities.

The signing ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU and Muhammad Zafar, General Manager Operations, Conure. Registrar SHU Professor Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, and Taniya Hanif, Head of Human Resources, Conure also graced the ceremony with their presence.

Also notably present from Salim Habib Univesity were Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions and Director Marketing, HR & Admin, Professor Dr. Muhammad Asif Shamim, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, who is also responsible for running SHU's MBA weekend program, Dr. Shamaila Burney, Head of Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office and Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, and Mr. Robin Stephen, Deputy Registrar.

The team from Conure was also taken on a comprehensive tour of Salim Habib University and its state-of-the-art facilities.
