Rs. 1 Million Donated to Indus Hospital & Health Network

Salim Habib University held a ceremony to hand over to Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN) the donations collected at the FundGala, a fundraiser organized by the Biomedical Engineering Departmental Society We.M.E. The donations, which amount to a grand total of Rs. 1 million, have been handed over to IHHN as a contribution to their relief fund for victims of the recent historical floods that have caused massive destruction all over Pakistan.

The ceremony, held on Thursday, October 6, was attended by Dr. Abdul Bari Khan, Founder & CEO, IHHN, Afifa Batool, Head of Marketing & Communications, IHHN, Arif Rahman, Manager Outreach, IHHN, and Shireen Zulfiqar Mithani, Assistant Manager Outreach & Anchorperson, News One Pakistan. Notably present from Salim Habib University were Professor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU, Professor Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Registrar SHU, Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Director Finance, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions and Director Marketing, HR & Admin, and Biomedical Engineering Faculty Members. Deans of the other Faculties at SHU, Chairpersons and Heads of Departments, and faculty members, also graced the ceremony with their presence.
