World Children’s Day is observed to bring into focus children’s rights, and how a large number of children are deprived of them, when they should not be.

Children are precious, they are a joy, and their souls must not be corrupted. They should be allowed the bliss of a carefree childhood, the protection, safety, and warmth of a loving home, and the hope of growing up to a bright future.
