HIV/AIDS is still a major threat faced by the human population, and there is still no broadly available cure or vaccine to fight it.World AIDS Vaccine Day intends to highlight how crucial it is to continue to work on creating a vaccine to prevent HIV infection and AIDS, and to celebrate and thank profusely all the volunteers, healthcare professionals, researchers, and supporters who have dedicated their time and efforts to this cause.Let us hope there is a major breakthrough in the search for a cure to HIV AIDS soon and that the world is soon rid of this menace.
