Introduction

The Associate Degree Program (ADP) in Robotics and Intelligent Systems is a structured two-year undergraduate program designed to equip students with fundamental technical skills and applied knowledge required for entry-level roles in robotics, automation, and intelligent technologies.

The program focuses on hands-on learning and industry-relevant competencies, enabling students to understand, design, and operate robotic and intelligent systems used in modern industrial, healthcare, and service applications. Graduates of the program will be prepared to:

  • Understand the basic principles of robotics, automation, and intelligent systems.
  • Apply programming, electronics, and control concepts to develop and operate robotic systems.
  • Work with sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and embedded systems used in intelligent machines.
  • Assist in the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of robotic and automated systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with engineers and technicians in multidisciplinary technical environments.

This ADP program emphasizes practical skills and applied learning, preparing graduates for immediate employment in technical and support roles within robotics, automation, manufacturing, and intelligent systems industries. It also provides a pathway for further academic progression into a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, or related engineering disciplines.

  • Minimum 45% marks at Intermediate level (F.Sc Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, ICS, DAE / A-Level or equivalent). No third division in Matriculation.
  • Minimum 50% marks in admission test (conducted by a HEC-approved testing body/university).
