About the Program

Salim Habib University Talent Hunt Program (STHP) is a merit-based scholarship program
that offers a 100% tuition fee waiver for the entire undergraduate degree,
subject to meeting the program’s eligibility and evaluation criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered:

1. Board Eligibility

Applicants must be from recognized Pakistani intermediate boards, including:

• Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIE) or any other recognized
  Board of Intermediate Education in Pakistan
• Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE)
• Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB)

2. Academic Eligibility

Intermediate Science Group

• Minimum 80% in SSC (Matric)
• Minimum 75% in HSSC (Intermediate)

Intermediate Non-Science Group

• Minimum 75% in SSC (Matric)
• Minimum 70% in HSSC (Intermediate)

3. Entrance Test Requirement

Applicants must score at least 80% in the SHU Admission Test
to qualify for scholarship consideration.

Selection Process

1. Check Eligibility

   Ensure you meet the required board and academic criteria.

2. Apply for Admission

3. Take the SHU Admission Test

   Applicants must achieve a minimum merit score of 80% in the
   SHU Admission Test to qualify for scholarship consideration. The assessment
   also includes a faculty interview as part of the overall evaluation.

4. Shortlisting

   Eligible applicants meeting the required merit score will be shortlisted
   for STHP scholarship consideration.

5. Scholarship Evaluation

   Shortlisted applicants may be invited for a scholarship evaluation interview
   or other assessment, where applicable.

6. Final Selection

   Final selection will be based on the overall evaluation, including academic
   performance, admission test results, and any applicable interviews or assessments.

7. Scholarship Award

   Selected students will receive the STHP 100% tuition fee waiver
   for the entire undergraduate degree, subject to the applicable scholarship
   terms and conditions.

Scholarship Benefit

The scholarship covers 100% of tuition fees for the entire
undergraduate degree.

Scholarship Maintenance

The scholarship will remain applicable throughout the undergraduate degree,
subject to maintaining a minimum cumulative CGPA of 3.00.

Expenses Not Covered

The scholarship does not cover the following:

• Application fee
• Admission fee
• Refundable security deposit
• Student activity fee
• Examination fee
• Lab fee
• Any other applicable charges
