SHU Creative Design Students Explore Media History at the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications

Students from the Center for AI Digital Arts & Creative Design, Salim Habib University, visited the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

The students received an insightful briefing at the Directorate’s in-house museum, which houses a remarkable collection of vintage electronic and print media equipment, archival footage, and historical records. The visit also offered a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of media technology over the decades, connecting historical practices with the changing landscape of modern media.
