    Biography

    Dr. Muhammad Ali is a pharmaceutical scientist, academic researcher, and educator whose work has significantly contributed to the fields of pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy, pharmacoepidemiology, antimicrobial stewardship, pharmaceutical policy, and health services research. Currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy at Salim Habib University, Karachi, Pakistan, he has established himself as an emerging research leader with an expanding international academic profile. His research focuses on generating evidence that improves medication safety, promotes rational drug use, strengthens antimicrobial stewardship, and informs healthcare policy and clinical decision-making.

    Dr. Ali has developed an extensive multidisciplinary research portfolio encompassing clinical pharmacy, pharmacoepidemiology, drug utilization evaluation, pharmacovigilance, pharmaceutical policy, pharmacy education, antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, nanomedicine, novel drug delivery systems, and public health. A highly productive researcher, Dr. Ali has authored more than 37 peer-reviewed scientific publications in internationally recognized journals, including Biotechnology and Bioengineering, Scientific Reports, PLOS ONE, BMC Health Services Research, BMC Public Health, Journal of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, Exploratory Research in Clinical and Social Pharmacy, Infection and Drug Resistance, Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and several other international journals. In addition to his research accomplishments, Dr. Ali has built a distinguished profile through his editorial leadership and scholarly service. He serves as an Editorial Board Member of BMC Health Services Research, one of the leading international journals in health services research. He is also a member of the Academic Board of Eterno Press, serves on the Early Career Researchers Board of Evidence Synthesis in Healthcare Connect, is a Scientific Advisory Board Member of Rawal Medical Journal, and contributes to the editorial team of the Journal of Modern Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. These appointments reflect the international recognition of his expertise and his commitment to promoting scientific integrity and excellence in scholarly publishing.

    Dr. Ali is an active peer reviewer for numerous internationally reputed journals and publishers. He regularly evaluates manuscripts for PLOS, Taylor & Francis, Dove Press, the Pakistan Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, the International Journal of Pharmacy and Integrated Health Sciences, and several other biomedical and pharmaceutical journals. Through these contributions, he supports rigorous peer review, enhances research quality, and facilitates the dissemination of high-quality scientific evidence across diverse disciplines within pharmaceutical and health sciences.
