Event Details

On June 3–4, 2026, students from the Department of Social Sciences & Humanities, Faculty of Management Sciences at Salim Habib University, showcased their research-based documentary projects developed for the Islamic Studies and Pakistan Studies courses.

The documentaries explored a wide range of topics, including Islamic values, Pakistan’s history and culture, civic responsibility, community engagement, social development, national identity, and contemporary societal issues. Through this initiative, students gained valuable experience in researching real-world challenges and presenting informed perspectives through visual storytelling.

The event was attended by distinguished academics, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and media representatives, including Mr. Sajjad Ahmed Sheikh, Faculty Member, KSBL, Muhammad Ahmed Khan, Entrepreneur, Spring Foods, Mr. Muhammad Mustafa, Software Engineer, E-Learning Avenue, Mr. Faaiz Hassan, Darse Nizami Graduate Hikmah Institute, Mr. Faheem Vohra, Visiting Faculty Member, KSBL & IoBM, Dr. Raza Khan, KSBL, Mr. Shahazaib Khan, SHU, Prof. Dr. Jamshed Butt, Director, Center for AI Digital Arts & Creative Design and Sports & Fitness, Muhammad Aamir Sultan, Former Senior Associate Professor, Bahria University, Owais Touheed, Senior Journalist, and Mr. Danish Hashmi, Creative Director & Writer, Hashtag Hashmi Media, who appreciated the creativity, research, and critical thinking demonstrated by the students.
