This World Heart Day, Salim Habib University (SHU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tabba Heart Institute (THI).

This MoU has been signed in order to strengthen academia-industry linkages and to ensure continuous quality enhancement and advice on career placement for SHU students. Both organizations wish to collaborate to conduct research and to enhance academic, research, and technological cooperation for the engagement of academicians and researchers in all applicable domains of science, technology and management.

The Signing Ceremony was presided over by Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor, SHU, and Dr. Bashir Hanif, Executive/Medical Director, THI. Registrar SHU Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan and Engr. Abdul Mujeeb Khalili, Senior Manager Biomedical Engineering, also graced the ceremony with their presence. Also notably present, from Tabba Heart Institute, were Mr. Musharaf Hussain, Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Abeer Salim Habib, Assistant Medical Director, Dr. Umer Dar, Mr. Zeeshan Butt, Head of HR, and Mr. Fahad Anwer Chishti, Manager Marketing & Outreach Services, and from Salim Habib University, Director Education & Admissions and Director Marketing, HR & Admin, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Mr. Robin Stephen, Deputy Registrar, and Engr. Gul Munir Deedar Ali, Lecturer, Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Following the MoU Signing Ceremony, the Salim Habib University party was given a comprehensive tour of Tabba Heart Institute.
