Salim Habib University's grand Open House 2023 was held on Thursday, the 16th of February, 2023.

The event saw hundreds of aspiring students visiting our campus to experience our world-class facilities and explore the market-competitive programs and dynamic career opportunities we offer, and witnessing the SHU way of life. The Open House included not only campus tours, career counselling sessions and briefings, but also a Project Exhibition, a Panel Discussion featuring our own alumni, fun activities such as lucky draws, karaoke, and games, and lots of food options.

We also held an Awards Ceremony by the name of Shining Stars Awards on the same day, to recognize and award high-achieving college and intermediate level students all over Karachi for academic excellence as well as their extraordinary talents and achievements in extra-curricular activities. Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin, Chairman, Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi, honoured us with his presence as Chief Guest while Mr. Nadeem Ghani, Dean of Nixor College, Karachi, was the Guest of Honour. Both addressed the audience and motivated students with their inspiring words. Professor Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU, also spoke at the event. Notably present were Registrar Professor Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan and Director Education & Admissions, and Marketing, HR & Admin, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib.

All in all, it was a great day, and we are thankful to the institutions and students who participated in making the event a success.
