Meet the Experts: Series II - 'Pakistan's Financial Crisis and a Way Forward: A Pre-Budget Discussion' was organized by Salim Habib University's Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, and held on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Miftah Ismail, Political Economist, Former Federal Minister of Finance, Former Advisor of Finance, Revenue, and Economic Affairs, and Chairman of the Pakistan Board of Investment. He highlighted the political and economic issues Pakistan is currently facing, especially the ongoing financial crisis, and brainstormed ideas for the way forward. The captivating discussion he initiated was moderated by Professor Dr. Muhammad Asif Shamim, Chairperson, Department of Business Administration, and was followed by an interactive question and answer session in which the audience expressed their views.

Notably present from Salim Habib University were Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, who presented the Vote of Thanks at the event, Prof. Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan, Registrar, who gave the Welcome Address, Mr. Muhammad Abbas, Chief Operating Officer, The Salim Habib Education Foundation and Director Finance SHU, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Director Education & Admissions, Marketing, HR & Admin, Dr. Mohammad Nishat, Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, and Deans and Chairpersons of other Faculties as well.
