A Workshop on Probiotics: The Journey from Research to Production, organized by the Department of Biosciences, Faculty of Science, Salim Habib University (SHU), in collaboration with the Pakistan Society of Microbiology (PSM), was held at SHU on Friday, November 17, 2023.

The workshop, a pre-conference event for the 14th International Biennial Conference of the Pakistan Society for Microbiology (FIBC-PSM 2023) being held from November 22 to 24, 2023, at Salim Habib University, Karachi, featured Prof. Dr. Naheed Mojgani, Head, Human and Animal Probiotic Research Lab, Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute (RVSRI), Iran, and Dr. Affhan Shoaib, Assistant Professor, Department of Biosciences.
