BioHorizon Gala: Excellence in Biomedical Engineering & Beyond, an event held in celebration of Biomedical Engineering Day, was organized by Salim Habib University's IEEE Student Branch and the Biomedical Engineering Departmental Society We.M.E. on December 5, 2023.

The event included an interesting and highly competitive segment called Pitch Revolution, followed by Guest Speaker Sessions by Engr. Dennis John Mathews, Head, Department of Biomedical & Electronics Engineering, Aga Khan University Hospital, Engr. Faheem Ahmed, Regional Head of Sales, Siemens Healthineers, Engr. Anum Mahmood, Product and Application Specialist, Shirazi Trading Company (Pvt.) Ltd., and Engr. Dr. Khalid Bin Muhammad, Senior Faculty, Department of Computer Science, IoBM, and IEEE ExCom Secretary.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the newly launched IEEE-EMBS (Engineering in Medicine & Biology Society) SHU Student Chapter was also held on the same day.

Notably present were Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Prof. Dr. Zeeshan ul Haque, Dean Faculty of Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Faculty members, and members of the University management, faculty, and staff.
