The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Information Technology, Salim Habib University, held its Final Year Project Expo on Thursday, December 21, 2023.

The showcase exhibited the incredible projects Computer Science students have created, which awed the judges and audience with their ingenuity.

Winners included:

Best Research (FYP I) – ‘Predictive Analysis of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) on Ultrasonic Images using XAI and MLOps’ by Aliza Alwani, Dileep Kumar, and Hassan Abdullah, supervised by Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology
Best Product (FYP I) – ‘HealthHive (Emergency Ambulance Service App) by Safa Basha, Nisha Fatima, and Farzeen Ali, supervised by Ms. Sumra Khan, Lecturer Computer Science
Best Research (FYP II) – ‘Comparative Analysis of DPC and its Enhancements’ by Altamash Bin Masroor and Syed Faraz Ahmed, supervised by Ms. Sumra Khan, Lecturer Computer Science
Best Product (FYP II) – ‘RL Applied for Dynamic Game Difficulty Adjustment’ by Hasan Abbas Rizvi, supervised by Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology

The judges for the event were Mr. Muhammad Naeem, SQA Lead, Contour Software, Mr. Syed Asad Zameer, Team Lead, Contour Software, Ms. Mona from Contour Software, Mr. Nooruddin Surani, Chief Operating Officer, Awesome Technologies Inc., Mr. Muhammad Hassan Naviwala, Managing Consultant, Mazik Global Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Ahmed, Co-Founder, TechSol360, and Mr. Gulraeez Gulshan, DevOps Engineer and AWS Solution Architect, Comtech.

Notably present at the event were Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, Vice Chancellor SHU, Prof. Dr. Rizwan Ahmed Khan, Dean Faculty of Information Technology, and Computer Science faculty members.
