Salim Habib University (SHU) was a proud host for the Conference Dinner of the 11th Deans & Directors Conference 2024 of HEC's National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC), for which SHU was also a Gold Sponsor, through the great opportunity provided to us by Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed and his team.

Vice Chancellor SHU Prof. Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan presented the Welcome Address at the Conference Dinner, which took place on Monday, February 12, 2024. Chairman NBEAC Dr. Naukhez Sarwar addressed the audience as well, highlighting the importance of bridging the gap between industry and academia for the betterment of education in Pakistan. Mr. Ahtesham Ali Raja, Program Director NBEAC, spoke at the event too, as did Prof. Dr. Tariq Rahim Soomro, Acting Rector, Institute of Business Management, Dr. Mansoor-Uz-Zafar Dawood, Vice Chancellor, ILMA University, and Mr. Usaid-ur-Rehman Usmani, President PAF KIET. Registrar SHU Prof. Dr. Kaleem Raza Khan presented the Vote of Thanks.

The event was attended by Vice Chancellors, Rectors, Deans, and professors from Universities all over Pakistan, as well as dignitaries from the corporate world. Dr. Farooq-e-Azam Cheema, Vice Chairman NBEAC and Provost, Karachi School of Business Leadership, Karachi also graced the event with his presence.

From Salim Habib University, Dr. Muhammad Hussain Habib, Executive Director Education, Marketing, HR & Admin, Mr. Syed Waqar Ul Hasan, Director QEC & Regulatory Affairs, Dr. Shamaila Burney, Head, Career Placement & Industrial Liaison Office (CPILO) and Assistant Professor, Business Administration, Dr. Hassan Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Business Administration, members of the University's Faculty of Management Sciences and QEC team, and the University management, including Directors and Heads of Departments, and staff also attended.

The dinner, which included a comprehensive tour of the SHU campus and its facilities for our esteemed guests, was enjoyed by all, and we are thankful to Mr. Umer Farooq, Manager Administration SHU and his team, for their efforts towards the lovely arrangements and ambiance.
