World Hepatitis Day, observed on July 28 every year, aims to raise global awareness of diseases known as Hepatitis and encourage prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Hepatitis affects hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Hepatitis causes liver diseases and can also kill a person.Get yourself screened for this disease if you have any symptoms then vaccinate yourselves. But “prevention is better than cure”.There are many ways you can reduce your chances of getting hepatitis: Don't share needles to take drugs. Practice good personal hygiene such as thorough hand-washing with soap and water. Don't use an infected person's personal items. Take precautions when traveling to areas of the world with poor sanitation. Drink bottled water when traveling. It is very important that you take these preventive measures if you participate in risky behaviors.Take good care of your liver. A healthy Liver constitutes a healthy body.
